Aug 22 2024: Dr. He Li gave an invited talk on “Transfer learning on physics-informed neural networks for tracking the hemodynamics in the evolving false lumen of dissected aorta” in the Taylor Medal Symposium honoring Prof. George Karniadakis for his G.I. Taylor Medal Award at the 2024 SES Annual Technical Meeting. Congratulations to George.

July 26 2024, Dr. He Li received Annual Award for Excellence in mentorship for the summer REU program. Summer student Jacob Martin Foster’s work “Single-Cell Stiffness Analysis Using a Coarse Grain Molecular Dynamics Simulation Via LAMMPS ” was selected for Undergraduate Research poster presentation for the 2024 BMES Annual Meeting.
